The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Production Technology and Management. The program is designed so that the student can complete them with extensive coursework and extensive laboratory sessions. Standard M.Tech. is a two-year program where the first two semesters are spent in coursework. The year-long project begins at the end of the second semester. The project usually has a strong research component linked to the needs of modern science and industry.
